The Prison Service received a formal application from Asap Rocky's legal representative on Monday, Expressen writes.

"He is now wondering if there are opportunities for him to make an appearance for the detainees at the Kronoberg detention center or any other detention or institution in the Stockholm area," the application states, according to the newspaper.

Asap Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Myers, plays in the Globe on December 11. The artist's wish is for the extra play to take place either on the same day or December 12.

"Watching it"

Fredrik Wallin, chief of the Kronoberg arrest, told TT last week that there are no obstacles for the American rap star to perform.

- It is absolutely possible to play in a detention facility.

But with an application now submitted, a prompt decision from the Prison and Probation Service is required for the gambling to lock.

- We are just watching this. Because it is a tight time frame, we will look at it as soon as we can, Gustav Borg, press secretary at the Prison Service, tells Expressen.

The application further states that the performance would be performed with Asap Rocky and a DJ in front of about eleven songs. The artist also wants the gig documented, which would require a camera crew of four to five people.

Detained for a month

Asap Rocky spent a month in the Kronoberg Detention Center before being sentenced to a conditional sentence for mistreatment in August following a very notable brawl in Stockholm at the end of June.

He has previously heard about the detention via his lawyer and offered to donate self-designed green soft clothing to the inmates.
