大阪管区気象台によりますと、近畿地方では20日夜から21日朝にかけて上空に強い寒気が流れ込み、冬型の気圧配置が強まった影響で北部や中部で雪が強くなりました。
雪の勢いは弱まっていますが、午前11時現在の積雪は、
▽兵庫県の香美町兎和野高原で1メートル39センチ、
▽豊岡市で27センチ、
▽滋賀県長浜市余呉で1メートル9センチ、
▽京都市で10センチなどとなっています。
また京都市では、午前9時の時点で、14センチの積雪を観測しました。
京都市内で1月に積雪が14センチになったのは5年前の平成29年以来です。
また、京都市と京都府亀岡市には大雪警報が出されています。
