Etihad Airways has revealed the cancellation of fees for changing flights booked before June 30 and extending their use to be available for travel until November 30 instead of July 15, in light of the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A spokesman for the union said today that if the traveler booked his flight before June 30, he can now change his flight for free without paying any fees for travel at any time until November 30, 2020.

The spokesman pointed out that the traveler can cancel his flight and retain its value for later use with the Etihad balance, as it will be rewarded with up to $ 400 and up to 5,000 Etihad guest miles.

The spokesman noted that if the traveler does not use his Etihad balance within 12 months of the first canceled private travel trip, he is entitled to a refund of the cash value of the ticket, indicating that "Etihad Airways" understands the importance of flexibility to change travel plans if the traveler needs to do so in such exceptional circumstances.
