The short list for the “Development and State Building” section included: “Dive into Seven Papers” by Emirati writer Ahmed Mohammed Bin Thani, published by Austin Macauley Publishers in 2019, and “Transition to Democracy: What Do Arabs Benefit from Others' Experiences?”

The winners will be honored during a virtual ceremony next May in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, where the winner of the title of "Cultural Personality of the Year" will be honored and given a "gold medal" bearing the award slogan and a certificate of appreciation, in addition to a sum of one million dirhams, while the winners will be awarded in The other branches receive a "gold medal" and a "certificate of appreciation", and a prize money of 750 thousand dirhams.
