Singer Seungri, who was handed over to the trial for prostitution and overseas expedition gambling to foreign investors to attract investment, completely denied most of the charges.
Seungri, who enlisted in the military in March, attended the first trial of this case held on the 16th at the hearing of the General Military Court of the Ground Operations Command in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province.
Seung-eui's lawyer said, "We deny all charges except for violations of the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act."
Earlier, the prosecution was charged with gambling several times in Las Vegas and other places for about three and a half years from December 2013 (regular gambling) and not reporting in advance while borrowing gambling funds in dollars (violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act), 2015. From September to January 2016, he prosecuted the victory on charges of arranging prostitution to foreign investors.
Seungri side said, "The defendant has no motivation to mediate prostitution. He did not participate in Yu In-seok's prostitution mediation," said Yu In-seok, former representative of Yuri Holdings, a partner.
In addition, Seungri said, "In order to be admitted to the charges of regular gambling, not only the amount of gambling, but also the number of times, time, motive, criminal record, etc. must all be considered. Insisted.
