At the age of 86, the satirist writer, screenwriter and director, People's Artist of Russia Mikhail Zhvanetsky died. The reasons for the death of the writer are not reported, but in October it became known that he decided to leave his concert activity. Zhvanetsky was born on March 6, 1934 in Odessa. While still a student, he began to compose monologues and miniatures, thanks to which he later gained wide popularity. Over the years, Zhvanetsky was the head of the literary section of the Leningrad Theater of Miniatures under the direction of Arkady Raikin, a production director at Rosconcert and an employee of the Molodaya Gvardiya publishing house. In 1988 he founded his own miniature theater in Moscow. In recent years, Mikhail Zhvanetsky hosted a TV program on the Russia-1 channel and gave concerts throughout the country.
