"Bear Child" punches in the Yangmei Graduation Exhibition, the art installation is shockingly damaged

Walking the baby at the exhibition needs to improve civilized literacy

It is another year of graduation season, and the graduation exhibition of the Central Academy of Fine Arts arrives as scheduled.

On social platforms such as Douyin, the topic of the Central American Graduation Exhibition has been viewed 190 million times, making it one of the hottest exhibitions in Beijing this summer.

The reporter saw at the exhibition site yesterday that many citizens brought their children to admire this "visual feast". Although it was good to add fresh vitality to the scene, it also brought some uncivilized viewing behaviors: directly touching the exhibits, Wearing shoes to step on the works at will, and directly tore off the exhibits and installations... In the art gallery, the painted oil paintings and the art installations that have been pulled and deformed can be seen everywhere, which is shocking.

"Bear Children" use art museums as playgrounds

In the CAMC Graduate Graduation Exhibition, there was a giant rainbow "cake" nearly two people tall. The bright candy color instantly caught the audience's attention.

All citizens who come to the exhibition have to take photos with the "cake", and some even stretch out their hands to rub and pull the works.

In the exhibition period of less than half a month, the "cake" that was originally a regular cuboid became skewed, as if it was about to "melt".

Just at a height of more than one meter above the ground, a significant depression appeared in the work, and the cotton inside the work was exposed.

A Yangmei student told reporters that many children would tear off the cotton used to make the "cake", so this depression was formed in the place where the children's hands often touch.

The reporter interviewed Jin Xiao, the author of "Cake".

"On the first day the work was exhibited, a child sacked a large piece of cotton." Jin Xiao said while restoring the work. "This work took half a year of creation time. It takes a little bit of tweezers to polish it to show the cuboid shape. Form. I am very sad to see that it has been destroyed. Every work in the art gallery is the painstaking effort of the students. I hope that the audience who come to the exhibition can observe the exhibition in a civilized manner and respect the graduation works of the students."

At the exhibition site, there are many such uncivilized phenomena.

A group of works called "Let's Dance Together", in which the dancing "little people" are difficult to continue to be exhibited due to the damage of the air film; many tablets used for video display in the venue were taken by the audience to take pictures and were taken by the audience. Children are used as game consoles... In the exhibition hall, students who come to restore works are often seen.

Students spontaneously act as civilized "advisors"

At the exhibition site, many children tried to understand art under the patient explanation of their parents.

But there are also some children, when they make loud noises and rampages in the art gallery, they never see their parents stop them; some parents even encourage their children to play around with forbidden artworks at will, and they record small videos for their children.

On a white art installation laid on the ground, many children wore shoes and jumped on it, leaving black footprints clearly visible on the surface of the installation.

A student told reporters: “This is an interactive device that allows the audience to interact on it, but it is required to wear shoe covers or take off their shoes. Even so, there are still many children who put on their shoes and step on it.” The parents stood there. These Sa Huan'er children were unmoved in front of them. Even some parents still said when they were dissuaded by security guards and volunteers: "So many people have stepped on it. What does it matter if my child stepped on it?"

The reporter learned that the chaos on the exhibition site has aroused the attention of the students of the Central American University. The students spontaneously organized a volunteer group of about 200 people to observe the exhibition in order to guide the audience to observe the exhibition in a civilized manner.

Zhu Haoyue, the organizer of the volunteer activities of the Civilization Exhibition, told reporters: “Many works have warning lines next to them, and the whole body is covered with'Don't Touch' reminders, but there are still audiences who are ignoring dissuasion.” Zhu Haoyue said, volunteers I often see many children trying to "close contact" with the works, and I hope that parents can promptly guide and dissuade them.

In order for the work to be seen by more people with a better attitude, parents and the exhibition management must jointly restrain.

Learning "how to observe the exhibition" should be a compulsory course

In addition to the Central American Graduation Exhibition, the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition, the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology Graduation Exhibition, and the Communication University of China Visual Communication Graduation Exhibition have been carried out one after another; the 798 Art District, the National Art Museum of China, Beijing Times Art Museum and other places also have art feasts one after another. field.

Art galleries have gradually become the first choice for parents to walk their babies. More and more parents take their children to appreciate the beauty of art. It is gratifying, but it is a compulsory course that parents must pay attention to to improve their children's cultural quality.

In less-traffic art museums such as Today Art Museum, reporters have also seen many children shouting, playing, touching exhibits with their hands, and even some children tore down the exhibition hall installation facilities to play with.

In the viewing hall of the exhibition hall, there are also parents who let their children play on the sofa cushions, regardless of the feelings of other audiences.

In this regard, Professor Zhang Shuang, deputy dean of the School of Education of Capital Normal University, reminded parents that more important than "visiting the exhibition" itself is to train children to learn how to "visit the exhibition."

Children's quality education is not as simple as memorizing famous articles or paintings, but transforming knowledge into civilized qualities.

A fully developed child must have positive values, good moral character and social adaptability.

Children who are spoiled at home can easily lose control of their behavior in public places. Behind this is the defect of self-discipline, self-management, and ability to get along with others.

She suggested that parents should introduce relevant precautions to their children before visiting the exhibition; when visiting the exhibition, it is necessary to stop children's uncivilized behavior in time, guide them to respect art and others, and jointly maintain a good atmosphere for the exhibition.
