Yamanashi Prefecture and Kofu City announced that a total of seven men and women in their teens to 80s living in the prefecture have been confirmed to be newly infected with the new coronavirus.
All seven have mild or asymptomatic symptoms.
A total of 588 people have been confirmed infected in Yamanashi Prefecture.
