Munich (dpa) - The cabaret artist Helmut Schleich (53), who became known primarily as a double of CSU over-father Franz Josef Strauss, complains according to information from the Munich "Abendzeitung" and the "Bild" newspaper against the FFP2 mask requirement in Bavaria.
He has therefore filed a lawsuit with the Bavarian Administrative Court (VGH).
"Even according to the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute, the FFP2 masks are generally not suitable for private use," he told the papers.

The "Bild" also quotes Schleich's lawyer Mario Bögelein: "The Infection Protection Act does not contain a sufficient legal basis for ordering the FFP2 mask requirement," he said.
According to a VGH spokesman, the court has already received five urgent motions against the tightened mask requirement, which stipulates that FFP2 masks must be worn in buses and trains as well as in shops in Bavaria to protect against corona infections.
Everyday masks or a scarf as a mouth and nose cover are no longer sufficient.
The spokesman neither wanted to confirm nor deny whether one of these applications came from the cabaret artist Schleich.

How long it will take for a decision on the applications is still unclear.
"The Senate is trying to give it priority."
There have also been lawsuits with the VGH against the prohibition of moving more than 15 kilometers from one's place of residence in seven days with an incidence of more than 200 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants.
