"The vaccination start was very bumpy in Brandenburg, especially in comparison with other federal states," said CDU parliamentary group leader in the state parliament , Jan Redmann, on Tuesday in Potsdam.
"From our point of view, it is particularly advisable to involve the corona specialist hospitals more closely, which have already vaccinated themselves."
They have affiliated nursing homes, whose residents and the staff of mobile care services could be vaccinated at the same time, explained Redmann.
Health Minister Ursula Nonnemacher (Greens) pointed out on Monday that vaccination capacities would be expanded step by step and that the vaccine would set the pace.
Several opposition factions are pushing for a significantly higher pace.
"We need a fundamental change in strategy," said left parliamentary group leader Sebastian Walter.
"Otherwise the vaccination strategy will fail and the vaccination chaos will continue."
Walter suggested organizing vaccinations and transports close to home and writing to risk groups with the municipalities.
Some cities such as Potsdam and Templin already did that on their own.
