Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 23rd that it was newly confirmed that 169 people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
This is the fourth highest number of new infections announced on the 1st.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in Hyogo Prefecture is 8607.
It also announced that three people who had been infected with the new coronavirus and were being treated were confirmed dead.
In Hyogo prefecture, 146 people have died from being infected with the new coronavirus.
