On January 2, the lowest temperature in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province reached minus 26 degrees Celsius. In Lamatai Community, Huayuan Street, Aihui District, Heihe City, community workers and volunteers shivered even though they put on the thickest cotton-padded clothes and shoes.
They were dressed in protective clothing, filled with disinfectant, and prepared to completely disinfect the residential buildings to block transmission channels.
Ye Xiaoyun, secretary of the Party Committee of Lamatai Community, Huayuan Street, Aihui District, Heihe City, told reporters that the volunteers and my (our) staff work at 6 (hours) and 11 (hours) and 12 (hours) every day, sometimes even 24 hours. Although work is very tiring, everyone still feels painful and happy in their hearts.
