Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City have announced that 53 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people announced on the 1st in Gifu Prefecture is the second highest in the past, after 55 on the 12th of this month.
A total of 1682 people have been confirmed to be infected in Gifu prefecture.
