• Covid-19. COVID-19 vaccines, where are the big laboratories?

  • Manuel Franco. Spokesperson for the Spanish Society of Public Health "It is expected that we will end the pandemic in two years, in March 2022"

As the trickle of

coronavirus

infections continues

, vaccination around the world continues at an uneven pace.

More than 200 million doses of

Covid-19

vaccines

have already been administered in 107 countries and territories.

But nine out of 10 are injected into countries with high or medium-high resources.

Some 1.84 billion people, almost a quarter of the world's population, live in countries that have not yet vaccinated.

In Spain, the

vaccination

campaign continues

and new cases are declining, so some communities have already relaxed some of the measures they adopted to stop the spread of the

pandemic

after the Christmas holidays.

8.00 Johnson promises coronavirus vaccine for all adults in July

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has offered all British adults to receive the coronavirus vaccine before the end of July.

"We have set out to offer a vaccine to all adults by the end of July, which will help us protect the most vulnerable sooner, and we will take further steps to ease some of the restrictions in place," Johnson said in a statement released Saturday. .

More than 17 million people in Britain have received their first dose of the vaccine so far, almost one in three adults.

The Government seeks to accelerate the vaccination plan by which, in the first place, it will offer a vaccine before April 15 to adults over 50 years of age and to those with underlying health problems.

Johnson has mentioned that the plan to accelerate the vaccine will allow to soften some of the strict measures of Covid-19, although he added that "the route out of the blockade will be cautious and staggered."

Likewise, the British prime minister has promised to donate surplus vaccines to the poorest countries.

7.50 China adds seven new cases of coronavirus, all from abroad

China registered seven new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, all from abroad, without any contagion by local transmission, the National Health Commission reported today.

On Saturday 38 cases were discharged, 705 contacts close to those infected were no longer under medical observation and three serious cases were reduced compared to the previous day.

Active cases from abroad stood at 193, none of them serious, of the total of 4,928 imported infections registered since the beginning of the epidemic, which did not cause any deaths.
