Several hundred people gathered in Nantes to pay tribute to the 15-year-old boy who died.

The family of Abdelghani, the young boy shot dead earlier this week in Les Dervallieres, was in the front row of the white march which brought together more than 500 people on Saturday afternoon in downtown Nantes.

The teenager had been seriously affected in the carotid artery, the right eye and the right leg by gunfire Monday evening, district of Dervallières, in Nantes and had succumbed to his injuries Wednesday at the CHU.

On Saturday, all members of the family wore a T-shirt with this inscription: "Justice for Abdelghani".

An investigation has been opened to understand the circumstances of this tragedy, which for the time being remain unclear.

New shots in recent days

Thursday evening, shortly after 10 p.m., several shots resounded in this popular district of Nantes.

According to the police, the shootings took place on rue Georges-de-la-Tour, a few hundred meters from the shooting which claimed Abdelghani's life.
