A "lie" Shinto ritual was held at a shrine in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, where past disasters were turned into "lie" and changed to good things, and families and others wished for the end of the new coronavirus.

"Shinto ritual" is a Shinto ritual that turns past disasters into "lie" after the legend that Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning who was attacked by bees, was saved by a flock of birds called "lie". As, it is done all over the country.

At the Shinto ritual of "Yokote Shinto Shrine" in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, visitors first receive an envelope at the entrance of the shrine.

Then, exchange the envelope with a character in the precincts several times, and when you are satisfied, open the envelope and check the contents.

There was a tag with an illustration of a "lie" inside, and depending on the tag that came out, I received amulets and daily necessities in the shape of a "lie".

A 44-year-old man who participated said, "I want the new Corona to end and return to normal life as soon as possible."

Koji Suzuki of Yokote Shinmeisha said, "Last year, the events were canceled one after another in Corona, but I hope this year will be a fun year, triggered by the festival that turns bad things into good things."
