In the first quarter, the Jiqing Oilfield operating area opened a new chapter with an overproduction of 9,000 tons. Since March 2020, the annual crude oil production in this oil area has exceeded 600,000 tons. This year, 100 wells will be drilled and 110 fracturing operations will be completed. The scale of production construction will reach the highest level in history. Here, the completion period this year is only 36 days, 3 days shorter than last year; the fracturing operation started 3 days ahead of schedule, with 19 wells on 6 platforms fracturing simultaneously, and production capacity construction is accelerating.
"Such a speed is of special significance to the establishment of a national-level continental shale oil demonstration area as soon as possible." said Du Xuebiao, manager of the Jiqing Oilfield operation area. At present, Xinjiang Oilfield has listed the "Shale Oil Revolution" as one of the "Top Ten" projects in 2024. In the Xinjiang Oilfield's plan, the crude oil output of Jimusar shale oil will reach 1.4 million tons in 2025.
New ideas drive new breakthroughs. The "Second Middle District" not far from Karamay City is the earliest developed block of Xinjiang Oilfield and has been in production for nearly 70 years. As production continues to decline, many oil wells have been shut down.
Since August last year, Xinjiang Oilfield has built more than 100 new oil wells in the block through the application of new ideas and technologies such as "two-three combination" and "chemical oil flooding", bringing this "old" oil field back to life.
With the help of scientific and technological progress, Xinjiang Oilfield has focused on increasing reserves and production in mature oil areas. Through precise reservoir description, it has reconstructed the underground understanding system, reconstructed the well network structure, and reorganized the surface process flow. , Xiazijie and other old oil fields are undergoing secondary development to form a new position with high efficiency and stable production.
