  MCC's 2022 annual report shows that Zhang Mengxing, born in August 1963, is a Chinese national with no right of overseas residence. He graduated from the Department of Construction Engineering of Baotou Iron and Steel Institute, majoring in industrial and civil construction, and received a bachelor's degree in engineering. He is a senior engineer.

  When the 2022 annual report is made public, Zhang Mengxing serves as the executive director, party secretary, and president of China Metallurgical Corporation, and also serves as a director and deputy party secretary of MCC Group.

  MCC's announcement shows that on November 7, 2023, the company's board of directors received a written resignation report from executive director and president Zhang Mengxing.
