[ASEAN Special Line] First all-cargo flight from Dehong, China to Yangon, Myanmar

  China News Service, Dehong, April 3 (Miao Chaoming Xiongzhong) At 13:40 on the 3rd, an international cargo charter flight carrying 3,094 kilograms of cargo arrived at Dehong Mangshi International Airport in Yunnan, China from Yangon, Myanmar. At 15:00 that day, the chartered flight returned to Yangon, Myanmar, carrying 15,390 kilograms of cargo, marking the successful first flight of the Dehong-Yangon all-cargo flight.

  Dehong Prefecture, located in southwest China, borders Myanmar. As the gateway hub of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, it is the prefecture and city with the largest number of ports and the largest trade volume between China and Myanmar. In 2018, the Dehong Mangshi International Airport air port opened to the outside world and passed national acceptance. It is the shortest air port from China to Myanmar.

  The all-cargo flights from Dehong to Yangon are scheduled to operate twice a week. The export goods are mainly clothing materials, fabrics, accessories and other commodities, while the imported goods are mainly fabrics, shoe uppers, internal signal cable assemblies and other commodities.

  Yang Wenhai, head of Yunnan Hangjie International Supply Chain Co., Ltd., the all-cargo flight cargo transportation business development company, told reporters that the Chinese customs department has formulated a facilitation customs clearance plan to make the entire cargo declaration process of all-cargo flights smoother and the import and export chain more connected.
