Seiyu, a major supermarket chain, has announced that it will sell all its stores in Kyushu to Izumi, a supermarket chain headquartered in Hiroshima City, and withdraw from Kyushu. Seiyu operates 69 stores, including the Sunny grocery store, in five prefectures in Kyushu, including Fukuoka, and it was announced on the 3rd that it had signed a contract to sell all of these stores to Izumi.
