Physical exercise appears in the

2023 Income Tax Return

. Two communities,

the Valencian Community and La Rioja

, include the encouragement of sporting activity among the possible deductions included in their respective autonomous sections.

Like every year,

the 2023 Income Tax Return

contemplates two types of deductions. The general ones, common to all Spaniards, and the regional ones, different according to the communities.

It is common for regional deductions to include expenses related to personal circumstances, housing, donations and studies. And also with specific circumstances of each specific community. For example, Castilla y León, Castilla - La Mancha and Extremadura are among the communities that apply deductions for habitual residence in rural areas. The Balearic and Canary Islands, for their part, have deductions for higher education outside the islands.
