A unique induction ceremony was held at a tourist farm in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where new employees tried their hand at shearing sheep.

At Makai Farm, a tourist farm in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, new employees shear sheep every year at their induction ceremony, with the hope that the employees will grow from being students to working adults. .

Three new employees attended the induction ceremony held on the 31st in the ranch square, and with the support of their seniors, used scissors with a blade about 15 centimeters long to cut the skin of sheep. I was careful to cut the hair to avoid it.

Sheep are sheared at this time of year to prevent heatstroke in the summer, and the approximately 2.5 kg of wool sheared on the 31st will be processed and used to make sweaters.

Afterwards, the three of them received their resignations and bamboo towels and dustpans to use when cleaning the farm. On behalf of the new employees, Kanon Minagawa said, ``We will work seriously and do our best in everything we do.'' I expressed my enthusiasm.

After the induction ceremony, Maiyuki Okubo said, ``I graduated from an animal school, so I want to take care of animals someday.''

Mao Yamazaki also said, ``I want to do my best to provide customer service that puts the customer first.''

After receiving training, the new employees will begin work in their respective departments from April 3rd.
