[ASEAN Special Line] Myanmar Trade Center (Kunming) unveiled

  China News Service, Kunming, March 31 (Shi Wenzhi) The "Myanmar Trade Center (Kunming)", the third authorized center in the world by the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, opened an international trade enterprise in the China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone on the 31st. The gathering park (hereinafter referred to as the park) was unveiled.

  The center will provide investment, consulting, settlement, customs clearance and other import and export services and host various import and export business exhibitions to build a communication platform for Chinese and Myanmar enterprises and promote in-depth cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, investment, culture and tourism.

  Yunnan Province, located on the southwest border of China, is geographically close to Myanmar, has close human ties, and has cultural ties. Today, the two places continue to deepen cooperation in economic and trade exchanges, interconnection, people-to-people and cultural exchanges and other aspects. Myanmar is Yunnan’s largest trading partner, largest source of imports and largest export market.

  The Myanmar Trade Center located in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, covers five major functions: comprehensive cross-border trade services, China-Myanmar trade channel services, investment consulting services, cultural tourism services, and talent training and exchange services. With the support of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Department, the service is jointly operated by Kunming Austi International Trade Service Co., Ltd. and MYANMAR AJ GROUP.

  On the same day, the Myanmar Commodity Hall on the first floor of the park was officially opened. By displaying Myanmar jewelry, rice, coffee, handicrafts and other special products, it allows Chinese consumers to experience Myanmar culture up close and provides convenient access for Myanmar’s high-quality products to enter the Chinese market.
