According to the "National Development and Reform Commission" WeChat official account, improving the quality of housekeeping services is an urgent task to promote the high-quality development of the housekeeping industry. It is an important measure to stabilize employment, promote consumption, and benefit people's livelihood. . Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, together with the Ministry of Commerce and other departments, issued the "Key Points of Work to Promote the Quality and Expansion of the Domestic Service Industry in 2024", which will focus on improving the quality of domestic services and implement the "Ten Major Actions" to improve the quality of domestic services.

　　1. Action to build the “Women Housekeeping” service brand. Implement the "Five Ones" project. Establish standards and unified logos for Women’s Housekeeping Service Groups, build information release columns, hold Women’s Housekeeping Vocational Skills Competitions, and launch a series of Women’s Housekeeping publicity activities.

　　2. Action to build the "Gongyi Housekeeping" service brand. We will carry out pilot projects for trade union housekeeping employment skills training, academic education, labor service brands, and employment bases, and select 100 domestic service units and provide subsidies.

　　3. Deepen the “front-runner” demonstration action in housekeeping. Promote the identification of employee-based housekeeping related enterprises in key "front-runner" cities, carry out evaluation and dynamic adjustment of "front-runner" enterprises, and select and publish typical cases.

　　4. Carry out special actions to integrate production and education in home economics. Support the construction of a number of industry-education integrated training bases in the field of housekeeping, encourage more colleges and universities and vocational schools to offer housekeeping-related majors, and strengthen the cultivation of high-quality, professional housekeeping service talents.

　　5. Carry out actions to improve the professionalism of domestic workers. Optimize the connection and integration of employment services and vocational skills training, improve the relevance and practicality of vocational skills training, and organize vocational skills competitions in housekeeping-related fields.

　　6. Continue to promote special actions to standardize elderly care and housekeeping services. Improve the housekeeping service standard system, build 40 standardization pilot demonstration projects, and strengthen the implementation and application of housekeeping service standards.

　　7. Deepen the construction of the housekeeping credit system. Improve the information files and credit records of domestic service enterprises and service personnel, promote the "housekeeping credit check", and continue to carry out the sharing and disclosure of credit information of domestic service enterprises.

　　8. Deepen the docking action of housekeeping and labor services. Increase the publicity of housekeeping labor brands, strengthen the export of organized housekeeping services, launch the "Life Service Recruitment Season" activity, strengthen cross-provincial and cross-regional labor docking, and improve the quality of housekeeping labor docking.

　　9. Deepen the action of “domestic management to promote agriculture”. Promote the connection between supply and demand, strengthen brand cultivation, increase assistance, improve support policies, and provide stable employment opportunities for rural labor and relocated people.

　　10. Action to promote typical experiences of housekeeping in the community. Promote the construction of embedded service facilities in urban communities, lay out domestic service outlets, and encourage domestic "front-runner" companies to give priority to participate in operation and management. Select and release a group of typical experiences and practices in providing domestic services to the community.

　　In the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will work with the Ministry of Commerce and other relevant departments to give full play to the role of the inter-ministerial joint meeting in promoting the improvement and expansion of the domestic service industry, continue to implement the work, and use the "Ten Major Actions" as the starting point to strive to improve domestic services quality, expand the supply of high-quality domestic services, and better meet the people’s service needs for a better life.
