At 15:00 on the same day, the cruise ship took more than 2,000 passengers to Fukuoka, Japan and Jeju, South Korea, starting a six-day and five-night cruise. Among them, Mr. Teng, a passenger from Tangshan, Hebei Province, became the 200,000th person to clear customs since the Tianjin cruise ship resumed sailing. "I feel very honored. The border inspection and customs clearance went smoothly. I look forward to a pleasant cruise trip."

With more than 75,000 passengers and 35 cruise ships, Tianjin International Cruise Home Port is expected to receive more than 120 international cruise ships throughout 2024.

"We are full of confidence in the revitalization of the cruise market and are fully prepared." Bi Linlin, instructor of the second duty team at the Dongjiang Border Inspection Station, said that we will continue to deepen the "decentralization, regulation and service" reform measures and optimize precision inspection and parallel inspection. The liberalization model will improve policy consultation and customs clearance guarantees for specific groups of people to ensure that cruise passengers’ customs clearance experience will be further improved. It will “contribute immigration management wisdom and strength to optimize the business environment of the cruise industry and help cruise tourism become a new engine of economic growth in Tianjin.” ( over)
