In order to rebuild businesses affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, an online meeting was held between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and economic organizations in the disaster-stricken areas. We decided to strengthen collaboration by sharing issues facing companies and precedents for solving them.

In response to the Noto Peninsula earthquake, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has been exchanging opinions with executives and representatives of economic organizations from the four affected prefectures, including Ishikawa and Toyama prefectures, and the third online meeting was held on the 21st. I did.

At the outset, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Saito stated that, based on the fact that the government had compiled support measures aimed at rebuilding the lives and businesses of disaster victims, ``The necessary support measures have been put in place, but the next step is to take concrete steps on the ground.'' "We will respond in detail to the content of consultations from disaster-affected companies."

At the meeting, representatives of economic organizations called for support

, citing an expected shortage of specialized human resources to support the preparation of documents needed to apply for subsidies, etc., and requested that the government

consider simplifying procedures. I made a request.

In response, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has announced that in order to make it easier for disaster-affected companies to take advantage of national support measures, officials from the national government, local governments, chambers of commerce, and other organizations will be asked to explain

the issues faced by disaster-affected companies and

precedent cases for solutions. We have set up a new working group to share the same information, and

have indicated a policy of strengthening collaboration.
