China News Service, Guangzhou, March 17 (Guo Jun, Wu Jinyan, Lei Jian) According to a report from the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration on the 17th, the steel shell of the T0 section of the East Cable Tower of the Shiziyang Bridge was successfully hoisted into the site on the 16th, marking the construction of the Shiziyang Bridge. Another significant progress has been made.

As a key control project of the Shiziyang Channel, the Shiziyang Bridge has a unique design and high technical difficulty.

The bridge adopts the "one span across the river" design of a double-layer steel truss suspension bridge with a main span of 2,180 meters. It has two main towers and adopts a steel plate concrete composite tower structure.

The steel shell and steel beams serve as the basic structure of the main tower and are crucial to the stability of the entire bridge.

The single main tower is composed of 124 steel shell segments and 6 steel beams from bottom to top. Each segment carries important structural functions.

On March 16, the steel shell of the T0 section of the east cable tower of the Shiziyang Bridge was successfully hoisted into the site.

The steel shell of the first section of the Shiziyang Bridge that entered the site this time has a unit weight of about 119 tons, a length of about 17.5 meters, a width of about 12.6 meters, and a height of 3.6 meters. It adopts a single-box three-chamber cross-section structure.

In order to successfully lift the million-ton "steel monster", the project invested in an R6600-240 super-large tower crane with a designed independent height of 92.5 meters, a boom length of 70 meters, and a maximum lifting capacity of 240 tons.

"Faced with a hoisting weight of over 100 tons, the project adopted advanced and safe hoisting technology during the hoisting process." According to Lu Zisheng, deputy project manager, the hoisting of the steel shell ashore was carried out by the crane ship "Guangdong Dongguan Worker 0096" Lift and lift the steel shell from the water to the shore.

Subsequently, the steel shell is transported to the designated location using a modular trolley.

Finally, through the precise operation of the R6600-240 tower crane, the steel shell was steadily lifted to the temporary storage point.

On March 16, the steel shell of the T0 section of the east cable tower of the Shiziyang Bridge was successfully hoisted into the site.

The water area where the hoisting operation is located is close to the recommended small boat channel and the fifth warning zone of Guangzhou Port. The ship traffic is large and the navigation environment is complex, which has a great impact on navigation safety.

The Dongguan Maritime Safety Administration guided the owner in advance to prepare a navigation safety plan, and put forward safety supervision suggestions such as optimizing hoisting operation methods, improving platform mooring facilities, and setting up reasonable warning signs.

Set up a special management and control station in the VTS center to issue navigational notices to remind ships to pay attention to safety. At the same time, on-site inspections are strengthened to pay close attention to ship berthing, hoisting operations, warning sign setting, warning ship distribution, etc., and do a good job in on-site traffic management.

At 17:00 that day, the two T0 segment steel shells were successfully hoisted into the site after 10 hours.
