  In this regard, the China Cuisine Association analyzed that from January to February 2024, the growth rate of national catering revenue and the growth rate of catering revenue above designated size increased by 3.3 percentage points and 2.2 percentage points respectively compared with the same period last year.

From January to February this year, national catering revenue accounted for 11.7% of total retail sales of consumer goods, and the growth rate of national catering revenue was 7 percentage points higher than the growth rate of total retail sales of consumer goods.

  From January to February, the catering industry had strong consumption vitality and strong popularity, achieving a good start.

  Data show that during the Spring Festival, the Ministry of Commerce focused on monitoring the sales of catering companies, which increased by about 17% year-on-year, and catering revenue increased in many provinces and cities across the country.

After the Spring Festival, catering consumption continued to grow, with freshly made drinks performing particularly actively.

  The China Cuisine Association pointed out that at the beginning of the new year in 2024, catering companies in the beverage category will be very busy sprinting for IPOs, launching sub-brands, adopting intelligent technology, and cross-border collaborations.

At the same time, we are also pleased to see that more and more catering companies are paying more attention to social responsibility.

  The China Cuisine Association believes that from January to February, driven by the New Year's Day and Spring Festival holidays, catering consumption demand was significantly released, which made a good start for the whole year's development and played a "catalyst" role in boosting consumer confidence in 2024.
