By the end of 2023

my country has built a total of 8.596 million charging infrastructure units (new data and new insights)

Our reporter, Beijing, March 17 (Reporter Wang Zheng) A reporter recently learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: As of the end of 2023, my country's charging infrastructure has accumulated 8.596 million units, a year-on-year increase of 65%.

Our country has built a charging infrastructure system with the largest number, largest radiation area, and most comprehensive service vehicles in the world.

The density of charging service outlets continues to increase, and charging convenience has been greatly improved.

In 2023, my country will add 929,000 new public charging piles, a year-on-year increase of 42.7%; 2.458 million new private charging piles will be built with vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 26.6%; there will be approximately 6,000 service areas with charging service capabilities along highways. There are about 30,000 charging parking spaces.

Among public charging piles, the number of fast charging piles has increased to 44%.

The construction of power swap infrastructure is accelerating. In 2023, my country will add 1,594 new power swap stations, and a total of 3,567 power swap stations will be built.

In 2023, my country's charging infrastructure will add 3.386 million units, a year-on-year increase of 30.6%; domestic sales of new energy vehicles will be 8.292 million units, a year-on-year increase of 33.5%, and the pile-to-car incremental ratio will be 1:2.4, basically meeting the rapid development needs of new energy vehicles. .

In the next step, relevant departments will accelerate the construction of charging infrastructure, continuously optimize and improve the layout of charging networks, strengthen the construction of charging infrastructure in key scenarios, guide users to widely participate in intelligent and orderly charging and vehicle-grid interaction, and encourage the development of interactive applications between new energy vehicles and the grid. Pilot demonstration work; continue to promote the formulation of relevant standards for battery swap infrastructure, accelerate the promotion and application of battery swap models, and continue to optimize the use environment of new energy vehicles.
