The development trend index is 66. From January to February, the express delivery industry achieved a good start, with rapid market growth, increasingly rich service scenarios, safe and orderly holiday operations, and steadily enhanced development capabilities.

From the perspective of sub-indicators, the year-on-year growth rate of express delivery business volume from January to February is expected to be approximately 23.7%, and the year-on-year growth rate of business revenue is approximately 13.5%.

From January to February, affected by the Spring Festival holiday, the industry showed a V-shaped operating trend, and the characteristics of the holiday economy were very prominent.

In January, consumption of new year goods was active, and the industry maintained rapid growth, with a business volume of 14.7 billion pieces and an average daily business volume of over 470 million pieces.

During the Spring Festival holiday (February 10-17), 1.079 billion pieces of express delivery business were completed, and the average daily business volume increased by 145.2% compared with the 2023 Spring Festival holiday.

After the Spring Festival, the market scale expanded rapidly, and the industry gradually returned to normal operation, with an average daily business volume of approximately 400 million pieces.

  From January to February, the express service quality index was 459.3, a year-on-year increase of 39.4%.

From the perspective of sub-indicators, public satisfaction with consumer express delivery services is expected to be 83.7 points, an increase of 2.2 points year-on-year.

The 72-hour punctuality rate in key areas is expected to be 73.3%.

The effective complaint rate of express delivery has dropped significantly.

Express delivery companies actively ensure travel-related delivery services during the Spring Festival holiday. They go deep into tourist attractions and carry out on-site collection. They set up all-weather service stations and mail lockers at stations, airports, popular stores and other places to enable remote ordering and drop-off of items. , helping tourists travel easily and facilitating users to return home to visit relatives.

  From January to February, the express delivery development capability index was 210.1, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%.

From January to February, the industry focused on key areas such as aviation, cold chain, and cross-border, and smoothed domestic and international delivery channels.

First, facility construction continues to advance.

The construction of Hainan Aviation Logistics Hub Base, South China Aviation Hub Center, Jiaxing Global Aviation Logistics Hub and other projects has been accelerated. Huahu Airport has been approved as a smart port pilot, and aviation ground transportation capabilities have been further enhanced.

The construction of the first phase of the Huanggang Linkong Smart Logistics Park (Cold Transport Center) and the Ruyang Smart Cold Chain Logistics Industrial Park has been accelerated. The North China Cold Chain Center has been upgraded, and the industry's cold chain transshipment and trunk line processing capabilities have been improved.

Second, the cross-border transportation network continues to be intensified.

The company's own airlines have opened international routes such as "Ezhou = Lahore (Pakistan)", "Wenzhou = Hanoi (Vietnam)" and "Shenzhen = Clark (Philippines)", which have effectively promoted trade between China, Pakistan, Southeast Asia and other regions.

Cooperate with the International Freight Train Company to run special cross-border trains between China and Russia, and carry out "end-to-end, door-to-door" full-link cross-border logistics services, providing a strong guarantee for "Made in China" to go abroad.

Third, international service capabilities continue to increase.

Express delivery companies are exploring cross-border transportation of oversized and heavy-duty materials and equipment to provide professional support for domestic manufacturing companies to build factories overseas.

Cooperate with cross-border e-commerce platforms to open a dedicated line for oversized items to China and South Korea to help furniture, home appliances and other merchants develop the Korean market and enrich cross-border e-commerce sales categories.
