Stores in Japan gradually resume operations

According to McDonald's Japan, a system failure occurred on the afternoon of the 15th, making the cashier terminals unusable at many stores across the country and making it impossible to order via smartphone.

As a result, some stores accepted orders verbally without using cash register terminals, and a number of stores have ceased operations.

Afterwards, as a result of the company's recovery efforts, some stores resumed operations on the night of the 15th.

The company plans to gradually resume operations at stores that are ready.
