The first victims of malnutrition, more and more children are being hospitalized.

A garage in the central Gaza

Strip

.

This is where Mahmoud, his wife and their children have been living for several days.

Their house was destroyed several months ago.

So they spent the winter on the streets, fleeing Israeli bombings.

Gaza, Dir Al Balah, Rafah and finally Maghazi.

“

A person took pity on us, and welcomed us into this garage

,” says the father, happy despite everything to have put a roof over his children’s heads.

But we still need to be able to feed them.

“

Now it’s simple: you have money, you eat.

You have no money, you are starving.

It's starvation, really.

There is not any work.

I am a simple worker, I have never been able to put money aside.

I have always worked day to day, to feed my children.

And now, I beg for people to give me bread

,” continues this father.

In the sky, there are Israeli drones.

They constantly fly over the Gaza Strip.

On the ground, the territory is also controlled by the Israeli army.

Humanitarian aid trucks are trickling in, the needs are immense.

“

My eldest daughter is six years old.

I have a four year old boy, and a two year old who needs diapers.

He has spent the last three months without diapers.

He remains stark naked day and night, inside and out.

A pack of diapers used to cost 3 dollars, it's 50 now

 ,” he also says.

 “

The food aid distributed in Gaza is insignificant

 ,” laments the father.

“

The rations distributed are barely enough to feed a cat

 ,” explains Mahmoud.
