China News Service, Beijing, March 12 (Reporter Wang Enbo) CNOOC announced on the 12th that Asia's first deepwater jacket "Haiji No. 2" independently designed and built by China has been completed at the deepwater equipment manufacturing base in Zhuhai, Guangdong and will soon Perform offshore installations.

It broke many Asian records such as structural height, weight, operating water depth, and construction speed.

The fixed jacket platform is the most widely used offshore oil and gas development equipment in the world.

The jacket is equivalent to its "foundation" and is used to support the huge body and huge tonnage of offshore oil and gas platforms.

On March 12, the construction of Asia's first deepwater jacket "Haiji No. 2" was completed in Zhuhai, Guangdong.

The average water depth in the operating sea area of "Haiji No. 2" is about 324 meters. The total height of the jacket is 338.5 meters and the total weight is 37,000 tons. The amount of steel used is close to that of the "Bird's Nest" National Stadium, reaching China's capacity to build sites, transport, install equipment and ships. limit.

In order to "slim down" the jacket to the maximum extent, the project team cooperated with domestic steel companies to jointly develop a new 420 MPa ultra-high-strength steel plate suitable for offshore engineering.

Fu Dianfu, deputy director of the Engineering Research and Design Institute of CNOOC Research Institute, said that "Haiji No. 2" used more than 20,000 tons of S420-grade high-strength steel, successfully reducing its weight by 5,000 tons, and saving hundreds of millions of yuan in materials and ship modification costs.

On March 12, the "Haiji No. 2" jacket was loaded onto the ship along the slideway, pulled by 8 sets of jacks.

The sea area where "Haiji No. 2" is located is prone to typhoons, and the wind waves and internal wave currents are huge. The jacket is designed according to the severe sea conditions that will occur once in a century.

The project also fully mastered the complete set of independent design and construction technologies for water depths of over 300 meters, and completed the construction of the jacket in just over 26 months. The accuracy of key dimensions was controlled within 5 mm, creating a record of the construction speed and speed of ultra-large deepwater jackets in Asia. A new accuracy record.

It is understood that "Haiji No. 2" is planned to be installed offshore in the near future. After completion, it will serve in the secondary development project of Liuhua 11-1/4-1 oil field, China's first deepwater oil field in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, and promote the 100-million-ton deepwater mature oil field. Take on new life.
