China News Service, Beijing, March 12 (China News reporter Song Yusheng) The China Hotel Association released the "Proposal on Facilitating Accommodation Services for Foreigners Coming to China" on the 12th.

The initiative states that with the development of global economy and trade and the orderly resumption of international flights, the number of arrivals is expected to continue to grow in 2024.

As a key people's livelihood service area, the accommodation industry must continue to help improve the convenience and satisfaction of inbound tourism, and make positive contributions to enriching and enhancing the country's tourism image.

The China Hotel Association advocates that accommodation companies across the country strengthen their integration with international standards, improve their internationalization level, optimize the management of overseas reservation channels, facilitate international card payments, and enable qualified companies to open international long-distance and international TV channels, provide Chinese and English ordering services, and improve In-store signs in Chinese and English, etc.

At the same time, we will optimize the local public transportation, cultural customs, catering and food and other tourism information consulting services provided to people coming to China.

In response to the needs of overseas visitors to China, we will design and launch more services and products with a high degree of internationalization and obvious Chinese characteristics, and vigorously promote Chinese culture, Chinese services, and Chinese food.

The OTA platform continues to optimize the online and offline booking and payment experience for inbound travelers.

The proposal also mentioned strengthening foreign-related service training.

Strengthen training in English speaking, foreign-related reception, and overseas customs for service personnel.

We will make up for the shortcomings of foreign-related reception personnel and management talents, explore cooperation with designated colleges and universities, establish a training base for inbound tourism reception personnel, and continue to consolidate the talent foundation.
