Dalian Port is one of the earliest ports in China to receive international cruise ships.
In 2016, Dalian Port International Cruise Center officially opened for operation, successfully providing departure cruise port services for cruise companies such as Costa, Royal Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Bohai Cruises.
As the first cruise ship welcomed by Dalian Port after the resumption of international cruise business, "Tui De Dan" is affiliated to Holland America Line. It has a total tonnage of 82,000 tons, a length of 285 meters, a width of 32 meters, and a maximum passenger capacity of 2,388 people.
This is the first time the "Tui De Dan" ship has visited Dalian, and will head to its next stop, Tianjin, after concluding its visit on the night of March 10.
In order to properly receive the arrival of the "Tui De Dan" international cruise ship, Dalian Port Passenger Transport Corporation opened the upgraded international waiting hall for the first time and deployed personnel to strengthen on-site services.
After the cruise ship berthed, the Dalian Immigration Inspection Station immediately boarded the ship for inspection to ensure the safety of the ship's customs clearance. It also compared the persons and IDs of the visiting passengers, approved the number of people entering and exiting, and ensured orderly and efficient entry and exit of the port.
Jiang Zhenlin, deputy director of the Dalian Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, said: "The 'Cuidedan' ship berthing at the Dalian Port International Cruise Terminal is a cruise ship visiting the port. Tourists do not need to go through entry-exit procedures. The border inspection department only needs to conduct personal inspections on them. After checking the ID card and approving the number of entries and exits, you can go to Dalian for sightseeing."
