This water replenishment is expected to provide 845 million yuan of water by optimizing the allocation and dispatching of water from the North Extension Emergency Water Supply Project of the East Line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, local water from the four provinces and cities of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shandong, water diversion from the Yellow River, water diversion from Luanzhou, recycled water and rainwater. cubic meters, an increase of 380 million cubic meters compared with 2023, of which 643 million cubic meters will enter the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The total length of the water replenishment line is 1,146 kilometers, replacing approximately 1.868 million acres of cultivated land along the line with groundwater irrigation water, an increase of 878,000 acres compared with 2023, and replenishing the river.
