Data disclosed by the Chinese online travel platform "Qunar" on the 29th shows that since mid-February, the number of searches for "flower viewing" related terms on the platform has increased nearly three times compared with the same period last month, and bookings for flower viewing products have become popular.
At present, spring flowers are blooming in Yunnan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Chongqing and other places first. The booking volume of flower viewing tour products on the Qunar platform has also reached its spring peak this year. The booking volume since mid-February has increased 2.7 times compared with the same period last month.
In Kunming, which is like spring all year round, it is the right time to enjoy flower viewing everywhere. On the Qunar platform, Yunnan flower viewing has topped the list of searches for many days in the past week.
The momentum of flower-viewing tours in Sichuan, Chongqing and Guangdong has also increased significantly.
In the Sichuan and Chongqing regions, the search volume for the keyword "Tongnan rapeseed" on the platform in the past week has increased by 40% compared with the previous week.
In Sichuan Province, tens of thousands of acres of rapeseed flowers are in bloom in Yibin, Chengdu, Luzhou, Zigong, Chongzhou and other cities. In the past week, hotel bookings in popular flower viewing spots in Sichuan increased by 30% compared with the previous week.
In Guangdong, various flowers such as kapok, sparrow, and bauhinia are in full bloom, attracting tourists. In the past week, the number of passengers flying to Guangzhou increased by 20% compared with the previous week.
Spring came later this year than in previous years.
According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, the low temperatures in most parts of China will continue until early March. The low temperature weather will also extend the flower viewing period across the country.
For example, Wuyuan Huangling, which was supposed to bloom in early March, is still full of green mountains recently.
The platform predicts that from March 8, the rapeseed flowers in Wuyuan, Jiangxi will gradually become more beautiful, and will enter the best viewing period from March 15 to March 25.
Judging from platform consultations, it is expected that the most popular flower viewing destinations this year include: Linzhi in Tibet, Yili in Xinjiang, Yuantouzhu Scenic Area in Wuxi, Meihua Mountain in Nanjing, Wuyuan Scenic Area in Jiangxi, Summer Palace in Beijing, Manhua Manor in Chengdu, Wuhan University, Luoyang China National Garden, Guangzhou Baomo Garden, etc.
Judging from the popular tourist destinations for flower viewing tours on the platform, Guangzhou tourists love flower viewing the most, and Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Xi'an and Kunming are also popular tourist destinations for flower viewing.
