The entire 62-kilometer Tianjin-Hebei section of the Grand Canal is open to tourism and navigation. The carrying capacity of the city's sub-center for non-capital functions has been steadily increased.

Xia Linmao introduced that Beijing has joined hands with Hebei to conscientiously implement the overall plan for integrated high-quality development of Tongzhou District and Beisan County approved by the State Council, adhere to unified planning, unified policies, unified standards, and unified management and control, and establish an integrated high-quality development demonstration zone council and executive committee. The committee has been operationalized in a physical manner, realizing cross-domain administration of government services.
At present, there are 10 cross-border roads between Tongzhou and Beisan County. Changtong Road will also be completed and opened to traffic by the end of this year. The Pinggu Line of rail transit is fully constructed and 5 stations have been set up in Sanhe City.
