Yang Liming said that after the line is completed and opened to traffic, Hebei Beisan County to the Beijing sub-center will be accessible in 9 minutes at the fastest.

The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission that a large number of high-speed railways have been put into operation, including the Beijing-Tianjin intercity extension line, Beijing-Xiong intercity, Jingtang (Jingbin) intercity, and Jinxing intercity, with Beijing and Tianjin as the core hubs. , the national high-speed railway network running through various cities in Hebei has been basically completed.

So far, the total mileage of high-speed rail in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has increased from 1,284 kilometers in 2013 to 2,624 kilometers, achieving full coverage of all prefecture-level cities in the region. The "1-hour traffic circle" in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has begun to take shape. Mainly A two-hour transportation circle between cities has basically been formed, and the main framework of the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on Rail" has been basically formed.

It is understood that Beijing-Tianjin intercity currently operates heavy-duty trains and long-distance trains, implementing public transportation operation, with a minimum departure interval of 3 minutes.

With the opening of the Beijing-Tianjin intercity extension line, passengers can arrive at Tianjin Binhai New Area in just about an hour from Beijing South Railway Station.

As an important stop on the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway, Wuqing Station is revitalized by the continuous "commuting flow" and "consumption flow".

Mr. Zhang is a taxi driver who lives in Wuqing District. According to his recollection, more than ten years ago, the area around Wuqing Station was relatively deserted, with few residential, commercial and other facilities.

Driving from Beijing’s Southwest Fifth Ring Road to Hebei’s Xiongan New Area is within one hour.

When Mr. Li, who is from his hometown in Shandong, returned to Beijing during the Spring Festival holiday this year, he deliberately chose the route via the Beijing-Xiongan Expressway.

He told reporters that the Beijing-Xiongan Expressway is smooth all the way, with clear markings and signs, clean roads, pleasant environment on both sides of the road, and a very good driving experience.

In addition to the Beijing-Xiong Expressway, a large number of expressways such as the Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, the Beijing-Kunming Expressway, and the Tianjin-Shijiazhuang Expressway have been completed and opened to traffic. Within the region, with Beijing as the center, there are 7 national expressways composed of radial lines from the capital, 2 vertical lines, and 3 horizontal lines. The backbone network is basically formed.
