“At the same time, owners of electronic wallets have the right to submit an application to the temporary administration, attaching documents that confirm the availability of funds in QIWI Bank. Within 30 working days, the applicant will be notified of the results of the review. Payments on approved claims will be made during liquidation procedures,” the DIA concluded.
On Wednesday, February 21, the Central Bank of Russia announced the revocation of the license from QIWI Bank.
As the Central Bank explained, the credit institution systematically violated the laws and regulations of the regulator, which created significant risks for citizens.
