"This year we will go back to our hometown in Hunan to celebrate the New Year. After the New Year, I plan to take my family by boat to Hong Kong International Airport and fly to Germany." Mr. Liu, who went through the "direct baggage check-in" procedure at Pazhou Port, said that this is his first time traveling from Pazhou Port. After customs clearance, the overall transportation is convenient. On-site customs clearance is very fast, and luggage can be checked at the port. It is especially labor-saving and worry-free for families traveling with children.

"During the Spring Festival, we will continue to do a good job in ensuring port customs clearance services. We will make arrangements in advance in terms of personnel training, inspection equipment, customs clearance procedures, etc. to ensure that passengers travel in the best possible condition." said Xu Yue, Deputy Commissioner of Customs at the Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center.

According to statistics, since the operation of Pazhou Port in April 2023, as of February 17 this year, Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Customs has guaranteed the entry and exit of about 2,500 ships at Pazhou Port, and more than 97,000 inbound and outbound passengers. (over)
