As RIA Novosti points out, citing available data, Russian gas exports exceeded $348 million.

It is clarified that last year Turkey purchased gas from 21 countries, most of it was imported from Algeria, the USA, Russia, Kazakhstan and Nigeria. These five countries accounted for 99.78% of total imports of $2.21 billion.

It is clarified that Algeria and the United States supplied $1 billion and $628 million worth of gas to Turkey, respectively.

It was previously reported that the European Union purchased oil, petroleum products and gas from Russia in the amount of more than €29 billion in 2023.
