  On February 17 (the 23rd day of Spring Festival travel and the eighth day of the first lunar month), the number of cross-regional personnel movements across society was 308.28 million, an increase of 52.4% over the same period in 2023 and an increase of 47.5% over the same period in 2019. Among them, the railway passenger volume was 16.067 million; the highway passenger volume was 288.72 million; the waterway passenger volume was 1.191 million; and the civil aviation passenger volume was 2.307 million.

  On the 18th, the meteorological department issued an orange cold wave warning, predicting that central and eastern China will experience severe cooling, rain and snow.
