The American company that developed ChatGPT, a generative AI, has released a new generative AI that creates videos from text, and the development competition is likely to accelerate further.

On the 15th, American venture company Open AI announced the development of a new generative AI "sora" on its official website.

This generation AI can generate high-quality videos of up to 1 minute in length based on written instructions, and there are several videos posted on the website that are said to have been created using AI.

One of the videos was created based on the following sentence: ``A stylish woman walks through a Tokyo street filled with warmly glowing neon lights and lively signboards. The wet road creates a multicolored reflection of light.'' is about a person wearing sunglasses and a skirt walking down a street with brightly colored signboards, and the wet-looking road and the way the light reflects off the sunglasses are elaborately depicted.

On the other hand, the characters on signs and signs look like hiragana or kanji, but they are not legible.

Open AI has not disclosed when this generation AI will be available as a product as it is still under development, and says that it is proceeding with various tests such as countermeasures against false information.

IT giants Google and Meta are also developing generative AI for creating videos, and competition is likely to accelerate further.
