As lifestyles change, an increasing number of residents are requesting delivery boxes and electric vehicle charging stations in their apartments, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has approved a majority of the attendees at the general meeting regarding the management association's resolution to install such facilities. We have summarized the idea of using as a guideline.

This was demonstrated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism at a meeting of experts discussing the state of condominium management.

According to the plan, a majority of the attendees at the general meeting will approve the management association's resolution to install new delivery boxes and electric vehicle charging stations in condominiums.

Until now, there have been no concrete rules, and in some cases management associations have required approval from three-quarters of the attendees at general meetings or three-quarters of all owners.

With lifestyle changes such as an increase in dual-income households and increased environmental awareness, an increasing number of residents are requesting the installation of delivery boxes and charging stations in their condominiums.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism says that by clarifying the requirements of the resolution, it will be easier to respond to residents' requests, and that the spread of equipment will reduce the burden on delivery companies and expand the use of electric vehicles. We plan to make a formal decision by the end of this month.
