An annual increase of 1.8 percentage points. Looking at quarters, the first, second, third, and fourth quarters grew by 3.9%, 5.4%, 4.7%, and 5.4% respectively, showing a recovery trend of low at first, high at medium, and stable at the end. The overall rebound momentum throughout the year is good.

  In 2023, my country's logistics operating environment will continue to improve, the recovery of market demand will accelerate, and new driving forces such as high-end manufacturing and online consumption will rebound significantly. The quality of logistics supply has been steadily improved, and collaborative and efficient logistics services such as multimodal transport and air freight have developed in an all-round way.

  The process of economic structural transformation is accelerating, and logistics demand is developing collaboratively. From an industrial perspective, equipment manufacturing logistics maintained a good recovery trend throughout the year, with a growth rate 2 percentage points higher than that of all industrial logistics. From the perspective of industrial formats, new formats such as e-commerce logistics and online services still maintain rapid growth. The average value of the e-commerce logistics index for the whole year was 110.1 points, and online retail sales of physical goods increased by 8.4% year-on-year, both accelerating from the previous year.

  The logistics development environment is optimized and the pace of industrial upgrading is accelerated. The annual investment in logistics-related fixed assets such as transportation, warehousing and postal services increased by more than 10% year-on-year, and the logistics infrastructure support system was further improved. Throughout the year, 30 new national logistics hubs were built, forming a total of 125 logistics hub systems covering the whole country with various types, providing strong support for the integrated development of industry and logistics.

  Logistics operation efficiency continues to improve, and unit logistics costs have declined steadily. The ratio of total social logistics costs to GDP was 14.4%, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points from the previous year.
