Cargo ships carrying fresh Russian snow crabs and king crabs have docked at Changxing Heng, Shanghai, one after another. Shayu Port brings heavy "new year goods" for the Chinese Spring Festival.

　　Recently, the "Shiwak" ship carrying 35 tons of live snow crabs docked at the Changxing Hengsha Fishing Port in Shanghai. Under the efficient protection of Chongming Customs, a subsidiary of Shanghai Customs, this batch of fresh snow crabs was quickly unloaded and shipped to major markets in Shanghai and surrounding areas to prepare sufficient seafood for Chinese consumers for the New Year.

　　In order to ensure the smooth customs clearance of this batch of live crabs, Chongming Customs strengthened coordination with various departments and made preparations for customs clearance inspection in advance to ensure the smooth release of the goods.

　　“We carry out standardized declaration guidance for importing enterprises to improve declaration accuracy and standardization rate; encourage enterprises to use advance declaration methods to improve customs clearance timeliness; strengthen internal communication, make boarding quarantine, document review, and inspection seamless, and achieve zero customs clearance of live crabs. Waiting." said Gu Xuefeng, chief of the first comprehensive business section of Chongming Customs.

　　Zhou Zhou, the manager of Shanghai Yuwosuoyu Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., the buyer of the above-mentioned snow crabs, said that the company also has a batch of 166 tons of live king crabs that will arrive at Shanghai Changxing Hengsha Fishing Port before the Spring Festival. These two ships of live crabs mainly meet the needs of the Spring Festival. In order to meet the consumption needs of the Chinese market, the customs' efficient guarantee has won valuable time for the import and listing of fresh seafood.
