Recently, freezing rain and moderate to heavy snow have continued to fall in Wuhan, causing icy disasters such as icy roads. In order to meet the needs of road salting and snow removal, relevant departments in Wuhan urgently purchased and transported industrial salt (snow melting agent) from Yingcheng City, Hubei Province. The Wuhan Railway Logistics Center coordinated the deployment and organized emergency loading and unloading of personnel to provide railway transportation capacity guarantee for Wuhan to maintain smooth flow.

On the evening of the 4th, under the organization of the Changjiangbu Station and the Changjiangbu Business Office, the dedicated line of the Changjiang Zhongsalt Company at the Yangtze River Station in Yingcheng City was opened for loading. In the early morning of the 5th, the loading was completed. Four vehicles were divided into four vehicles, fully loaded with 250 tons of melted snow. Special train No. 51302 of the agent left safely from Changjiangbu Station, ran via Handan Line, and arrived safely at Duoluokou Station in Dongxihu District, Wuhan City at 6:38 on the 5th.
Duoluokou Station prepared a shunting operation plan in a timely manner. The shunting personnel worked closely with the shunting locomotive driver of Wuchang South Locomotive Depot to promptly align four vehicles carrying snow melting agent to Lane 13 of Duoluokou Railway Logistics Base. Duoluokou sales department and sales office management personnel grasp the train arrival information in advance and make arrangements for relevant personnel, labor and machinery to ensure timely transfer of key materials.
At 13:00 on the 5th, the last large truck loaded with industrial salt (snow melting agent) slowly drove out from the loading site next to the 13th warehouse of the Duoluokou Railway Logistics Base of the Wuhan Railway Logistics Center and headed for the designated warehouse. (over)
