  Zhang Jihong, director of the E-commerce and Information Technology Department of Qinghai Province, said that in recent years, the online consumer market in Qinghai Province has recovered in an orderly manner, and the pent-up and restrained consumer demand under the special situation has been rapidly released.   According to business monitoring data analysis, in 2023, the online consumer market in Qinghai Province showed a gradual recovery in the first quarter, an accelerated recovery in the second quarter, continued warming in the third quarter, and a stable and positive trend in the fourth quarter.

  From the supply side, online retail sales in Qinghai Province will increase by 75.3% year-on-year in 2023 and 19.5% compared with 2019. According to calculations by the Ministry of Commerce, Qinghai Province’s growth rate ranks third in the country.

  From the demand side, online shopping in Qinghai Province in 2023 will increase by 11.8% year-on-year and 41.7% compared with the end of 2019.
