The Hexi Corridor area in Gansu Province is China's largest seed production base for external breeding of vegetables and flowers. Every winter, mature seeds enter the peak export season. The export of samples can be called a "path-exploring trip" for the export of exotic seeds. Some newly developed foreign customers will require samples to be provided first to understand the quality of seeds. Other newly bred varieties also need to provide samples first at the request of foreign customers.
The number of samples is small and the types are diverse, so how to accurately sample is a problem. After thorough discussion, Jiuquan Customs applied the "small batch seed inspection" model, that is, on the premise of meeting the minimum quantity requirements for laboratory testing, only 20 to 50 grams of samples were taken for centralized inspection, which solved the problem of restricted sampling inspection of export samples.
